I am uncertain which profile you want public. You can set appropriate levels by reading this. If you have any further questions please post them on my profile page.
Thanks for volunteering to help grow our one world tree.
WikiTree has one profile for each person, so the further back you enter your ancestry, the more likely cousins will find you and help out. ANY Wiki Genealogist can edit "Open" profiles (over 200 years old).
Please drop into our friendly Genealogist to Genealogist (G2G) forum to introduce yourself to other WikiTreers - you can access the G2G by selecting G2G Profile from your My WikiTree menu at the top right of most pages.
WikiTree can be a bit overwhelming at first, so don't hesitate to post your questions in the G2G.
Good luck with connecting your leaves and branches to our big tree,
I see that you are looking for information on your family. If you are just looking you don't need to Volunteer. You will find the People Search under FIND in the menus, upper right of this page. You can also ask questions in the G2G forum.
If you meant to Volunteer to help grow this wonderful collaborative Tree, please leave a note to that effect. We would love to have you
Gilly
To help you find your way the help pages and search features can be
accessed through the links on the upper right-hand corner of almost any page. Feel free to post a question in the G2G Forum or on a relevant profile page.
If you would like to contribute to WikiTree, please click the volunteer link to receive yourr Volunteer badge, and post a comment here on your profile to tell us that you are interested in family history and wish to join us.
We will be very glad to welcome you to the WikiTree community.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
